Getting the Right Handbag for the Right Occasion
By Luvi Marie Corcuera
As most if not all women who love handbags know, shopping fro them is very enjoyable but at the same time challenging. Picking a handbag is not the easiest of any shopping of tasks, especially if it's a brand handbag that you want, something like a Gucci handbag or a Prada. Pulling a Luis Vuitton of a shelf and paying for it just like that is easier said than done, since there are many things any woman would have to consider before buying it or any accessories for that matter. Some of your clothes, shoes and accessories in your wardrobe have to match and go with what you will be buying, after all a single handbag does give you the whole beauty look as it is only a part (an important part though) of the looks package. If the rest of your wardrobe doesn't match, it won't make a difference whether you're holding on to an expensive handbag or not, you'll look just as bad as with any other handbag.
Things to Consider before Buying your Handbags
To make sure that your handbag will match with most of or at least a good part of your wardrobe, it would be ideal for you to choose classic designs. The latest trend fashion designs are of course gorgeous but then there is the possibility that you will have problems matching these types of handbags with your clothes and accessories, hence unless you really only to use your handbag on a few occasions then it is best to try to avoid them. Then again of you really want to have the latest fashionable handbags then try to choose the ones the will not cost you hundreds of dollars, since these handbags will only until the trend is over and then you will be left with a handbag that may look out of place after a few months of use.
The easiest way to ensure that your new handbag will match your wardrobe is to choose a handbag that uses neutral colors. Colors such as black, white and brown are best suited as they tend to look great with most clothes and accessories, so it would be best to keep these types of handbags as they are best suited for most types of occasions as against the more colorful ones that would only fit a particular occasion or clothing.
Choosing your Style and Handbag Materials.
Whenever you buy a new handbag, you should first look into what you need for and its purpose. Being able to determine its purpose will help you in deciding the size, color, shape and design of the handbag you should buy. Every occasion will determine the the type of bag that you will need to have, such as for board meetings, you would likely have a larger handbag since this may be used as your briefcase for your documents. In other occasions like evening or formal gatherings you may want to compliment your evening attire by sporting a smaller handbag which would be much easier to carry and be more suited to your clothes.
A point to remember is that whenever you go out shopping for your new handbag is always determine ahead of time what you want and why you want it as this will help you avoid unnecessary buying. Sticking to his will help you with being able to save the dollars you could perhaps spend on something else that may even compliment your wardrobe that much more.
What Brand of handbag should you go for.
This is all a matter of preference when buying a handbag, although you should always choose one that is within your budget. There are so many brands available such as Gucci, Luis Vuitton and Prada, from which you can either choose authentic or replicas to buy. The handbag you should get must be the one you are happy with, and if you do decide to go for a designer handbag them it would be best to choose one that you will continue to use as the cost will be higher and you may not want to spend a few hundred dollars just to buy one handbag and use it only a few times.

By Roy Leadwell
In the early 1960's a new American Handbag Company began, it was Coach. Founded by William and Miles Cahn and to this creative team they added there new and forward thinking designer Bonnie Cachin.
The Coach line started with basic silhouettes and high quality leather that seemed to last forever. Few baby boomers started there first job after college without carrying a basic Coach handbag or Briefcase. With this fashion accessory people new you were serious and on your way up the corporate latter. Those were the days you carried the same bag all the time. That was ok because you were stylish carrying affordable luxury.
As time went by they added many silhouettes and fabrications the Handbag Line took on a new look and the basics took a back seat to all of the forward and fashionable creations. Were did all your old favorites go? Like goof friends they were always around but were just taken for granted.
Today Coach has reintroduced a line of classic favorites. Coach has a collection of original styles from there archives and the bags have bound leather edges and distinctive hardware. The line includes handbags, backpacks, travel pieces, brief cases, organizers, wallets and accessories. Each item is made from the same soft glove tanned cow hide, water buffalo leather and weather resistant travel twill. Each piece of the collection will proudly display the Coach signature tag.
How customers use these bags is always important to the people at Coach. How there were made, the pockets and stitching all were carefully considered to provide for efficiency and strength. Each bag is made with the same quality, craftsmanship and love that it was made over 60 years ago.
Like everything else in our culture what we remember from our youth we perceive to be better so why shouldn't the legacy of Coach be the same.

Fashion design differs from costume design due to its core product having a built in obsolescence usually of one to two seasons. A season is defined as either autumn/winter or spring/summer. Fashion design is generally considered to have started in the 19th century with Charles Frederick Worth who was the first person to sew their label into the garments that they created. While all articles of clothing from any time period are studied by academics as costume design, only clothing created after 1858 could be considered as fashion design.
